In this article, we compiled a list of all of the newly added features from the Solar-Log WEB Enerest™ update 3.4.0. These features are also listed in our Release Notes.

Module Configuration

The modules within the account for the corresponding package (M, L, XL) can now be selected in the Administration<<Settings>>Package settings menu. By checking the desired position, for example for Graphics, Events and Dashboard, they will automatically display these modules in the portal. Additionally, the order of the modules can be changed by drag and drop.

New Module: Value Matrix

For the Solar-Log WEB Enerest™ XL package, 5-minute values for all channels of a plant can be manually downloaded from the Administration<<Visualization>>Value Matrix menu. Just select the corresponding categories and then confirm the selection by clicking on the “Display Data” button. After that, the listing can be directly checked and then exported as a CSV file.

New Report: Expected Inverter Yield

This report allows the user to check if the plant’s inverters are operating in the expected yield range. Additionally, for comparison values, any available sensor, weather and other tracker data that is configured for the particular module fields is also listed in descending order. The report can be accessed from the Administration<<Reporting >>Expected inverter yield menu.

Change to CO2 Factor

Now the CO² factor can be centrally defined in one place for the various modules. This can be done from the Administration<<Settings>>System Defaults menu.

Display the Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF)

Mainly used for India, the performance of a PV power plant is often indicated by the capacity utilization factor. This factor is the ratio of the PV plant’s current output over the year compared to the maximum possible output under ideal conditions.

The capacity utilization factor is usually expressed as a percentage and is calculated as follows:
Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) = (Energy measured kWh / (365*24*installed capacity of the plant)) *100

To activate the function on the portal, please write an email with subject “CUF” to support@solar-log.com. After it has been activated in the Administration<<Plants>>Capacity Utilization Factor menu, the value can be used in the yield overview, graphics and reports.
